Our founder and Artistic Director performed at the annual Vienna Philharmonic New Year's Concert, marking his seventeenth consecutive appearance at one of the most watched musical events in the world.
The evening brought together the Vienna Philharmonic, an international ballet ensemble and a full auditorium at the Vienna State Opera. For our students, seeing their teacher on that stage is a reminder that the standards we teach in the studio are the standards of the profession.
Why Stage Experience Matters in Training
There is no substitute for performing. Live performance teaches a dancer to manage nerves, to adapt to a real stage and to communicate with an audience, and those are skills that cannot be developed in a classroom alone.
The academy seeks out performance opportunities for its students throughout the season, from studio showings to larger gala appearances, so that stage experience becomes a natural part of training rather than a special occasion.
