Questions from parents

I have never done ballet — am I too old to start?+

Not at all. We welcome beginners in their teens and place every dancer in the group that fits their level.

When can I start pointe work?+

Pointe work starts only when your teacher sees that your strength and technique are ready — safety first.

Can I prepare for exams or auditions?+

Yes. Teen Ballet prepares dancers for examinations, competitions and pre-professional pathways, including our Stage Education program.

What should I bring to the first class?+

Comfortable dancewear or sports clothes, ballet slippers or socks and a water bottle. Long hair tied up in a bun.

Ready for the first step?

Come and try a class — our teachers will gladly help you find the right group for your child.
