Pilates and Yoga Teachers: Stop Paying Rent for Empty Hours

Teaching Pilates or yoga in Vienna? Why renting a professional studio by the hour beats renting your own space — plus what to look for, prices and how to set up your class.

Many Pilates and yoga teachers in Vienna dream of their own studio — and then see the rent, the deposit and the five-year lease. Hourly studio rental is the flexible alternative.

Why Rent Instead of Lease?

  • No long-term contract. Pay only for the hours you teach.
  • Test new class times. Try a Saturday morning or a 07:00 early class without risk.
  • Grow step by step. Start in a 55 m² studio, move to 90 m² when your class fills up.

What a Good Pilates or Yoga Room Needs

A warm, clean floor, enough space between mats, good air and a calm atmosphere. Our studios offer sprung floors (gentle on knees during kneeling and standing work), full-wall mirrors you can use or ignore, climate control, natural light in most rooms and a sound system for your playlist.

Which Studio for Which Class?

  • Studio 5 (55 m², €20/h): private and duo sessions, small groups up to about 8 mats, or bring your own reformer.
  • Studios 2 & 3 (90 m², €25/h): group mat Pilates, yoga flow, barre and floor barre classes of up to 20.

The hourly rate includes up to 10 participants; each additional person costs €5 per hour.

Bring Your Own Equipment

You are welcome to bring mats, blocks, bands, balls or reformers. If you teach regularly, secure storage can be arranged so you don't have to carry everything every week.

Early Mornings, Evenings, Weekends

The studios are open from 07:00 to 22:00, seven days a week — perfect for before-work classes, lunch sessions and weekend workshops.

Easy to Reach for Your Students

Längenfeldgasse 27 in 1120 Vienna is about five minutes from the U6 Längenfeldgasse station, so your students can come straight from work.

Book Your First Class

Find a free slot in the booking calendar or read more on our Pilates studio and yoga studio pages. Your studio is confirmed as soon as the online payment is completed — unpaid requests don't hold the slot.

Scaling Up Your Practice

As your following grows, you might find that your initial small-group sessions are consistently selling out. Transitioning from our 55 m² space to the larger 100 m² halls is a seamless process. We offer five distinct studios in total, covering over 550 m² of space, allowing you to accommodate anything from a private one-on-one session to a high-energy group of 25 participants.

If you prefer a consistent schedule without price spikes, you will appreciate our flat-rate policy. Whether you choose a slot on a Tuesday morning at 08:00 or a busy Sunday evening, the hourly rate remains exactly the same. We do not charge extra for weekends, public holidays, or prime-time evening slots, helping you maintain a predictable budget as you build your business.

Options for Workshops and Intensive Days

If you are planning a half-day intensive or a full-day workshop, you can book our facilities in four-hour or eight-hour blocks. This is particularly useful for weekend seminars where you need time to set up, host a three-hour intensive, and have a buffer for student networking afterward.

For these longer sessions, we recommend booking our 100 m² halls—Studio 1 or Studio 4—at a rate of €30 per hour. These larger spaces provide the necessary breathing room for teachers who incorporate sequence-heavy yoga or complex mat Pilates that require students to move frequently across the entire room.

Logistics and Equipment Access

Every single studio, regardless of size, comes equipped with full-wall mirrors and both fixed and portable ballet barres. If your specific teaching style incorporates barre work or visual alignment checks, you will find these tools ready for immediate use. Furthermore, each studio has an integrated sound system, ensuring your music and cues reach the back of the room clearly.

We understand that logistics can be a burden. Because our rooms are in constant use by our own academy students and teachers, they are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and organization every day. You will have access to designated changing rooms, allowing your students to arrive in work clothes and prepare for class comfortably on-site.

Connectivity and Arrival

Being located at Längenfeldgasse 27 in the 1120 district puts your class at a major transit hub. Aside from the U6 station, our location is equally accessible via the U4 line, as well as the 62 tram and the Badner Bahn (WLB). This makes it convenient for students traveling from the city center, the southern districts, or even commuters coming from outside the city limits.

When directing your students, remind them that the five-minute walk from the Längenfeldgasse station is straightforward and well-lit. Having such a central connection point reduces the barrier to entry for new clients who might otherwise be discouraged by a long commute or difficult parking.

The Partnership Discount

We value the vibrant community of independent teachers working within our walls. As a way to support your growth and showcase the quality of classes hosted here, we offer a 10% discount on your rental fee if you agree to let our team photograph or film your session. This material is used for our own promotional purposes to highlight the diversity of training offered at the academy.

If you are interested in this arrangement, please reach out to our administration team before finalizing your booking. It is a fantastic way to lower your overhead costs while gaining exposure, as we often feature the talented instructors who teach in our spaces across our social channels and website.

Finalizing Your Rental

Our commitment to efficiency means our booking system is entirely automated. You can view real-time availability through our online calendar at any time of day or night. Because we operate on a first-come, first-served basis, please be aware that selecting a time slot does not hold it; the studio is officially yours only once the secure online payment is processed.

If you find that your preferred room is booked, we recommend checking the availability for our other four studios. With five different spaces ranging from 55 m² to 100 m², there is almost always a suitable alternative available if you need to keep your preferred teaching time.

The cost breakdown is refreshingly honest. Most studios never publish numbers like this.

This article saved me from signing a lease I would have regretted by month three.
