A great workshop needs more than a great teacher. The space shapes the whole experience — from the first warm-up to the final showing. Here is how to plan a successful workshop or event in Vienna.

Choosing the Right Space

For workshops with up to 25 participants, book one of our 100 m² studios. Running two levels at once? Book two studios at the same time — for example Studios 2 and 3, which are identical. The base rate includes up to 10 participants; each additional person costs €5 per hour.

Half-Day and Full-Day Bookings

Workshops rarely fit into one hour. Half-day bookings (4 consecutive hours) start from €80, full days (8 hours) from €160, depending on the studio. For multi-day intensives or weekly residencies we prepare custom packages.

A Sample Workshop Day

Corporate Team Events

A beginner-friendly dance or Pilates session is a refreshing alternative to the usual team-building activity. Everyone moves, laughs and leaves energised — no experience needed. Bring your own instructor or ask us for a recommendation.

Understanding Our Five Studio Spaces

Selecting the right studio depends largely on your group size and the nature of your activity. We offer five distinct rooms, totaling over 550 m² of space, which allows us to accommodate everything from intimate private rehearsals to larger masterclasses of up to 25 participants. Whether you need the expansive 100 m² footprint of Studio 1 or Studio 4 for choreography, or the more compact 55 m² intimacy of Studio 5, each room is maintained to the same standard as our daily academy classes.

To ensure you choose correctly, consider the movement requirements of your participants. If your event involves extensive floor work or wide-reaching movement, we recommend our 100 m² halls. For smaller workshops, such as a localized Pilates session or a focused technique lab, Studio 5 provides an efficient and cost-effective solution at €20 per hour. Studios 2 and 3 offer a perfect middle ground at 90 m² each, priced at €25 per hour, while our premier 100 m² spaces are available for €30 per hour.

Standard Amenities and Readiness

Every studio in our academy is equipped with the essentials that professional dancers and instructors expect. You will find full-wall mirrors in all rooms to facilitate technique corrections, along with both fixed and portable ballet barres to support your training needs. We prioritize the comfort of our guests with dedicated climate control systems in every room, ensuring that your workshop remains at a comfortable temperature regardless of the season or the intensity of the movement.

Beyond the physical space, each studio features a dedicated sound system ready for your music playback. Because these rooms are in active use by our own students and instructors every day, they are kept in pristine condition. We also provide changing facilities to ensure your participants have a place to transition from their street clothes to their dance wear before the session begins.

Flexibility and Scheduling

We believe that high-quality rehearsal space should be accessible whenever inspiration strikes. Our academy remains open from 07:00 until 22:00, seven days a week, providing you with maximum flexibility for your event. Unlike some venues that charge premium rates for prime time or weekends, our pricing remains consistent across the board. Whether you book on a Tuesday morning or a Sunday evening, you pay the same hourly rate based on the size and type of the studio selected.

When planning your event, remember that our pricing model includes up to 10 participants. Should your guest list exceed this number, we apply a simple surcharge of €5 per additional person per hour. This transparent system allows you to scale your event as needed without hidden costs, making it easier to budget for guest instructors or open enrollment workshops.

Booking Logistics and Policies

Efficiency is key to a smooth event, which is why we use a live, integrated availability calendar on our website. This tool provides real-time updates on the status of every studio, allowing you to secure your preferred room through our instant online booking system. Please note that a booking is only finalized once the secure card payment is processed; we cannot hold or reserve a studio for unpaid requests. We recommend booking well in advance, especially for weekend slots that tend to fill up quickly.

If you are looking to optimize your budget, we offer a 10% discount on the total rental price if you grant the academy permission to photograph or film parts of your session for our own promotional use. If this is something you are open to, please coordinate with our office team during the booking process so we can prepare accordingly. This is a great way to subsidize your costs while showcasing your work to our community.

Accessing the Academy

Location is a critical factor for attendee participation, and our facility at Längenfeldgasse 27 in the 1120 district is exceptionally well-connected. Being situated just a five-minute walk from the Längenfeldgasse U-Bahn station provides easy access to both the U6 and U4 lines, making it convenient for guests coming from any part of Vienna. Additionally, the area is serviced by the 62 tram line and the Badner Bahn (WLB), offering multiple public transport alternatives for your attendees.

When sharing event details with your participants, we suggest including these transit options to avoid any confusion on the day of the workshop. We advise all organizers to arrive slightly ahead of their booking time to settle in and perform a final check of the sound system. This ensures that when the clock strikes the start time, your instructor can focus entirely on teaching rather than technical logistics.
